I had not thought about the film in terms of Cameron's previous works. I an one of those for whom the trailer was a disappointment, I was hoping for the same viseral effect I got when I first watched the trailers for The Matrix, or Watchmen. Instead, to quote a friend, I was waiting to be impressed and ended up with a big pile of Meh. I'm hoping that as with all good films, the devil will be in the detail.
